Anyone else need a little pick me up?

It is snowy outside. The roads are slick, and stressful, and dangerous. It gets dark around 5:30 p.m. every day. This makes me want to cry a little. So, I have decided to think about summer, and sunshine, and sand, and mischievous little boys going on happy adventures complete with castle building, sand burials, and the discovery of dead, near-headless fish (a.k.a. little boy g.o.l.d.) I'm also going to think about a summer where my belly looks like it's smuggling a basketball, and I get to lounge in the grass with my son, and my hubs, and two crazy dogs. And a summer where I get to meet this sweet baby. We have waited so long to meet this sweet baby...

I'm also going to change my attitude and enjoy the snow a little. I'm going to watch Kort make snow angels. I'm going to press my face against the sliding glass door and act like Kort is knocking me out with snowballs as he throws them into the glass and laughs and laughs and laughs. I'm going to watch Bubbuh eat his weight in powder as Bella nips at his heels and eventually sends him head first into a 2 foot drift. I'm going to snuggle down deep into my bed and eat the amazing, home-made potato soup made just for me by a loving mother-in-law. Then I'm probably going to throw up, but I'm going to smile when I do, because being sick means that my body is very pregnant, and I really like being pregnant. I'm also going to sleep a lot, and cry a lot, because there is so much joy in my heart these days, I hardly know what to do with it all.

We saw the baby's heartbeat during an ultrasound yesterday. It was the most fantastic sight. Made our day. Who am I kidding? It made our year, and then some... plus a million... bajillion.

Can you believe I'm going to have kid(s)? As in, PLURAL?
I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. It may take awhile.

Happy summer (okay, AND winter) lovin to you all.
