Preschool Graduation
Mrs. Stahlei
Mrs. Trenholm (and a delicious coconut macaroon)
Mrs. Beach (and some sort of terribly intimidating monster)
Daddy and Kort at the front of his school.
Kortland's fellow classmates.
We are going to miss EVERYONE at Hobble Creek Learning Center! They were all amazing. Kort got a little choked up when he realized that he wasn't going to be attending classes there anymore, and he got all of us a little choked up as well! He was a total HAM (as usual) during the program - he acts so much like his uncles when they were little - it's getting ridiculous.

Getting treats and a diploma from his teacher.

Yeah, pretty sure I just bought not one, not two, not three...and NOT EVEN four...but five pairs of shoes for $14.77! I love vacation shopping! The funny thing is, I could have gotten this deal at home cause we were only at the St. George Old Navy! I haven't been to Old Navy for a very long time (I shop very rarely period) but boy am I excited about the haul I made there today! Now, I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't think this is a very exciting deal due to the fact that they would likely never find occasion to wear ANY of these overly bright and funky retro-graphic prints, but I plan on wearing them with EVERYTHING (whether anyone- including my husband who HATES them -thinks it's a good idea or not!) Ha ha! The other great thing is that they are flat! I love high heels so much that I have a hard time buying anything else, but this obsession leaves me with very few options when going to say...Sea World or Disneyland! The other 2 pairs in the picture are basic flip flops for Kyle - for the pool and yard and stuff (They have a 2 for $5 deal on all flip flops - Men's, Women's, and Children's). All in all, it's the best $14.77 I have spent in a long time!

I thought these could brighten up a cute grey dress I just bought.
...and I'm not sure what I'm going to do with these yet, but they make me smile!
Oh the delisciousness of pink suede ballet flats for $2.97

I also heart Costco.
I just got these cute plaid swim shorts (which also came with an orange wet-suit shirt) and also found a totally great-quality life jacket for Kort! This is his modeling face.

Family Fun over Memorial Day Weekend!
We just had the greatest weekend with over 50 members of the Blackwell family! We all packed up and moved into both of the Headlee Family's St George vacation homes for 4 days and it was a little slice of heaven! Sure, each day started off with 2 hours of crazy stress as I tried to keep my 4 year old (who is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed every morning at 7:00 a.m. not to mention completely crazy-anxious to play with all of his fun aunts, uncles, and cousins) from navigating the aerobed labyrinth that was the living room until the at least somewhat reasonable hour of 9:00 a.m.! But other than that - it was amazing! We all got up and made pancakes, eggs and bacon each morning, went swimming, BBQed some Tri-tip steaks, and sat around laughing, eating, and visiting for hours. It literally made up my definition of heaven. I love my family and I'm so grateful that they're mine! Kort had so many little cousins to pal around with, I was worried that Kort would spiral into a state of depression and social withdrawal when everyone left, but it was Kyle's sorrow at everybody's departure that caught me by surprise! Every ten minutes he would say, "I'm bored. I miss everbody. Who can we call to come over and hang out?" I finally texted my cousing Jen and said "I think there's a hole in Kyles' soul where Leif used to be!" It was amazing! The Blackwell magic is finally breaking down Kyle's anti-social barriers! Love it.

Janell's new boyfriend, Chase, was an absolute peach when it came to giving in to Kortland's every plea to be tossed into the air - again and ...again......and again! He's "in" as far as I'm concerned!

A pic of 1/8th of our party guests!

Look at the view through the windows! I love visiting the St. George houses!

He slipped while hiking the rock waterfall on the outside pool. When I went to take the pic, Kort said "This is sad, huh mom." I said "Yes." so he posed accordingly! Ha ha!

Hey girl! Wonderful blog! I will be checking OFTEN! So good to see your beautiful face. Sorry about all our plans falling through, my life got flipped upside down and my facebook account starting getting random posts which was alarming me so I cancelled it. I'm adding you to our blog, hope that's OK. Love ya!
