Good News!

Good Things Utah Good News!

I'm so excited! I just got an e-mail from a really great producer at GTU who said that they would be happy to let me come on the show and tell Utah all about the Love Swap Fundraiser that's coming up at the end of February! I can't even believe it! Yaaaay! I love the show and I love the girls on it and I am so excited that my baby (aka the LoveSwap fundraiser of 2009) gets to be held up for all the world to see! (okay, all of Utah, but that's just as good!) I am going to be talking with the girls on Wednesday, February 4th. The show starts at 10:00 a.m. on channel 4 so set your tivos or tune in, and even more importantly, raid your closets, get your friends and family to raid their closets, and let's have some fun! I've officially decided to add a toy room to the sale, so if your toy rooms are overflowing now that the Christmas surge has come and gone, be sure to clean out those toy chests and closets too! This would be a great way to teach your kids about the plight of the children of Zambia and give them meaningful ways in which they can help to make a difference as well. It will change their persepective and ultimately change their lives! This is going to be so great. Thank you all for your support, and if you're just finding this now, or just thinking about jumping on board - now is a great time to do it! We would be happy to take all the help we can get!

Jenna - I would LOVE it if you wanted to collect donations down south! We go down your way and also have family come up from there all the time, so if you want to collect donations from all of your friends, family, and neighbors, I can definitey coordinate a way to get it all picked up before the swap!

Natalie- totally send me a detailed email with a list of what you still need and I'll post it on serveutah.blogspot.com!!!

Lyndsie- YES! Gently used, still "in style" Women's and children's clothing as well as toys, and we're asking that everyone clean and polish up their toy donations so they look great and are ready to sell! Send me your email and I will send you the flyer that you can print out and distribute!

Thanks everyone!
