aw geez.

so, kyle's siblings thought that it would be really nice to take an updated group photo to give to their mother for mother's day this year. i thought it was a great idea too. now, kyle loves his mother, but hated this idea. he hated this idea because he hates getting his picture taken. this hatred is further exacerbated by the fact that his wifey (a.k.a. me) loves to take pictures and loves to have family photo shoots as often as humanly possible. i should have been better prepared for the revolt that would ensue on that fateful friday evening...but alas, I was not.

i have no idea what he is doing,

but it is thoroughly unpleasant to look upon.

i felt like a photographer at kiddie kandids.

only, my subject was 30.

and a little...off.

then i made the rookie mistake of asking them to

"interact naturally"

so i could get a few candids.

and this is what i got.

Oi.

then, i thought

"okay, he got it out of his system,

so surely i should be able to get the

shots i need now, right?"

wrong.

there was more where that came from.

much, much, much more.

"you know what, i am just going to get a shot

of the girls being beautious together

so at least we'll have something nice and lovely

to frame for mothers day...

but i was foiled again

and again.
