Tree Removal Diagram.

this was pretty funny
One day, while Kyle was cutting down/pulling out the gigantic tree in our front yard, Kortland came running into the office and demanded a piece of paper and pen-pronto! It was immediately clear that he was on very important business and did not have time for any of my usual dilly-dallying. I pulled a white sheet of paper from the printer and handed it to him. He grabbed a pen from the desk and disappeared. About 5 minutes later, I heard him yelling over the buzz of the chainsaw in the front yard.
"Dad! Wait! I made a plan!"
When Kyle stopped the chainsaw, I hurried downstairs to see what Kort was up to.
I guess he felt that Kyle could use a little help getting the tree out of the ground, so he had taken it upon himself to draw up some plans for the removal. The plan goes as follows:
first, we go to Africa to get a large stone. FYI: the continent of Africa is pictured above in the left-hand corner of the picture. Now, I'm not sure as to why African boulders are more suitable or appealing than those of other countries, but I'm sure he has his reasons.
next, we bring it home, find a huge stick and put it over the top of the boulder and wedge one end of the stick under the roots of the tree.
and finally, all of the big, strong neighbor-guys who are there to help will jump on the other end of the stick and the force of their weight will pop the tree right out of the ground.
I might eat him. Now, I'm definitely going to try my best not to, but I'm not making any promises.

that is so cute! African boulders are definitely the best, hands down!
